Host was very friendly and responsive with very helpful recommendations, but spoke no English. The apartment was very cute. We were disappointed that the washing machine broke just before we arrived, but the host did try her very best to fix it (not successfully, but she was very responsive and most importantly, she tried.) Roof top "terrace" was spectacular for amazing views! Great little neighborhood with friendly locals.
There is no parking, despite what it says on Booking, only street parking, which was quite a nightmare. The apartment had steep stair access to the bathroom and it was extremely small (one person at a time max): there are lots of stairs here so be aware of this if you need easy or wheelchair access. One bedroom had no door, only a curtain. The kitchen needs more utensils and supplies: it is stated on Booking that it has a kitchen and that it is a place for 4-5 people, so there should be utensils, cups, glasses and plates for 4-5 people.

The location, 15 minutes walk from Beach, Old Town centre and railway station, 9 minutes from bus stops to other towns.
We weren’t interested in cooking but if you are the kitchen does not have a lot of equipment

Giuseppina who owns it and hands you over the keys is a lovely lady who gives you loads of information and details about monopoli. The location is perfect and you can walk to all attractions, cafes, bars, restaurants and the old town and town centre.
Nothing much really. It is a really quaint and feels like a real Italian apartment and is I think Giuseppina’s original family home. So it may not have the ‘luxury’ of a renovated type apartment that you often see but it has a lovely homely feel, you can lounge or read in it for a while which always helps if you don’t want to be out and about all the time.

Second bedroom does not have a door it’s just a curtain, small bathroom but has everything you need
